This is a very durable, medium-duty scissor lift and that makes it useful across the board. If you’re a general contractor tasked with keeping a machine on-site for multiple trades, then this will make a great selection, as long as it isn’t in the mud.  This type of scissor lift is built for working off hard, flat surfaces. If you’re doing concrete work, then it is perfect for getting around the slab and up to those high columns and walls safely. In terms of capacity and size, this lift is right in the middle of the road. Its ample 551 lbs. of platform capacity are enough to get 2 men and a reasonable load of tools up to height.  This lift is also well suited for any warehouse-type environment that is also home to a forklift. This scissor lift is great to have on hand for erecting or dismantling warehouse shelves and getting up to the air conditioning, fans, or HVAC unit in the ceiling and on the roof when it is time to do maintenance work. It’s not the smallest lift out there, so if you have a tighter configuration that doesn’t see much machinery traffic or your machinery is designed for narrow aisles, you may want a smaller model.  With a maximum working height of just under 26 feet, it is great for residential or tower construction. Again, concrete is best. It will also do well on light commercial sites, depending on the height requirements. All in all, Snorkel makes a reliable scissor lift that you and your team will be able to count on day in and day out.
