The JLG 600A is a robust lift designed for heavy industry and commercial use. This machine is much bigger than its little brothers – the JLG 400S and 460SJ in terms of size and reach. This machine is right at home on the big jobsites.

More Boom and More Capacity
A unique feature of this boom-lift aside from its great reach is its higher platform capacity.
This lift has the ability to get your crew up to where they need to go with tools and a sizable amount of materials too. Most lifts tend to top out around 500 lbs. capacity, however the JLG 600A nearly double that at 992 lbs. With a 60’ reach and the ability to take almost a half-ton to the work area this workhorse is an asset to trades that are dealing with more weight.
Because of this added capacity, jobs that require a bit of exertion like connecting steel beams or placing windows can be performed more safely from the platform. This stable giant is far more comfortable to drive and operate than its smaller counterparts, which can have a tendency to bounce their riders around if not operated smoothly.
A Huge Reach that Doesn’t Compromise Flexibility
The articulating boom means that it is broken into two pieces and hinged, rather than being designed as a straight shot. The advantage that this brings is the ability to navigate up and around obstacles like fences and walls. This added ability is important as it isn’t the most agile machine going.
This machine has a large footprint, so where it is very strong in reach, it pays for it in maneuverability. You’ll need to work out the details to ensure the site can accommodate this machine.
The chassis is 8 feet wide so you know there is going to be a wider turning radius. Experienced operators won’t bother trying to park the vehicle too close to the job. They will simply manipulate the articulating boom in order to gain access.
