The Skyjack SJ86T telescopic boom lift is another of the boom lifts with a longer height and horizontal reach, with a maximum platform height of 86 ft / 26.21m and a horizontal reach of 76 ft / 23.42m that can rotate in 360 degrees.
The SJ86T is one of the best options for 4WD capabilities, with its locking rear differential and limited slip front differential which are both controlled by the operator. Combine that with its 45% gradeability and oscillating axel, and you will find that the SJ86T can navigate the worksite and rough terrain without a problem.

With the boom stowed, the length of the SJ86T is 42 ft 5”/ 12.95m however you can stow the platform underneath the boom to reduce the overall length down to 34 ft 9” / 10.59m. The width of the SJ86T is 8 ft 2” / 2.49m, with a stowed height of 9 ft 10” / 3m. However, when stowing the platform underneath the boom for transportation, the height increases to 10 ft 3” / 3.13m.
The jib can be adjusted to an angular range of +65 degrees to -60 degrees, and the overall weight is 38,691 lb. / 17,550kg, so it can be transported easily on the back of most trucks without the need for an overweight permit.
The controls for the SJ86T use EASYDRIVE direction sensing drive and steering controls for easier piloting, and the entire lift is drivable while fully extended to allow you to alter your position and move around the work site easily. The platform comprises a modular railing system with a tri-entry sliding rail that allows you to enter the platform easily from multiple approaches, while the platform also has wiring for an AC outlet for easy access to electricity.
