Skyjack’s Medium-Duty Scissor Lift – Sometimes Bigger is Better
This machine is the SJIII line’s larger option. The 4632 is slightly bigger in terms of storage height as well as reach. This means that the Skyjack 4632 is going to be right at home in medium industrial and heavy industrial settings like steel plants or refineries.
These lifts are well-designed not to sacrifice any mobility for the increased reach. Because of this, they are still well suited for small and medium warehouse duties where the aisles are likely to be narrower.
While they do have an increased reach and maintain their agility, they have had to sacrifice a bit of lift capacity in order to achieve that safely. Don’t be deterred however, they can still take more than enough weight to get the job done. Let’s have a closer look at this excellent man-lift and some of its specs and features.

Goes Anywhere Gets Your Team to Higher Places – Even Up and Over
The SJIII line of electric scissor lifts is known for being very agile. A competent operator can get one of the man-lifts just about anywhere. The designers at Skyjack have done a great job of offering a lift with increased reach at 38 feet, without giving it a bigger footprint.
The only slight difference is in profile, with a slightly taller storage height of 88” with the rails up. With the rails up or down, the 4632 is 4” taller than the SJIII 4626. That’s not a huge difference when you’re talking about an extra 6 feet of reach.
They have had to sacrifice about 300 lbs of capacity to get up higher, but at 700 lbs, this lift can take an ample payload to where it needs to be. A capacity of 700 lbs is more than enough for two workers, tools and some materials.
Another great feature of the platform is the ability to kick out an extra 4 feet. This gives your team a lot more versatility for navigating the machine into position on the floor of the site.
