The Multiquip Mikasa series MTX70HD compactor is a top of the line medium weight compactor, that can make short work of most compacting jobs. It has a series of remarkable features that make it ideal for any jobsite.
Dust particles thrown up by older compactors and cyclical rammers can be disruptive, dirty and dangerous. That’s why the Mikasa MTX70HD Compactor is fitted with Cyclonic air cleaners to capture 98% of airborne dust particles. When combined with masks and respirators you can be assured that you and your crew will experience minimal dust inhalation so you can protect your health while getting the job done.
Making sure the compactor shoe is durable is vital for any compactor. The Mikasa MTX70HD Compactor is fitted with a custom designed Long-lasting laminated wood and steel shoe to provide the perfect balance between strength and flexibility. The different material work together to create a machine that can keep working as long as you need it to.
A common problem for operators of rammers and compactors is discomfort in the hands after prolonged use. The Mikasa MTX70HD Compactor comes with low vibration handles to dissipate the force of the machine’s motion and relieve stress on your hands.
To help you keep track of your work the unit includes a combination hour meter/tachometer.
Of course with all of the work that you can put the machine to it is important to protect the engine. the Mikasa MTX70HD has guards to protect the engine from any debris thrown up by the compactor.
The fuel tank has been designed to meet EPA standards for evaporative emissions so you can be sure there will be no regulatory issues on your site
