The telescoping tower is compact for storage and transportation then extends to 30 feet when deployed. The mast can be easily raised and lowered by two winches for increased versatility and control. Both powered and hand-operated winches are available. In the upright position, the light tower mast rotates 360 degrees and the lights operate at any height, allowing for greater coverage of a work site without moving the trailer.
This unit provides excellent fuel efficiency, between 60 and 70 hours between refuels depending on conditions.

the engine, generator and electrical components, Wanco Diesel Light Towers feature a hinged top
panel that rises with the mast when maintenance is required.
No other light tower boasts such easy access to the engine. The gull-wing side doors may be opened while the maintenance panel is raised, further enhancing access, in case you want multiple people working on the unit at one time.
The body of the unit is steel, protecting the components from the elements. Enclosure is powder-coated, lockable, and weather-resistant for resilience and durability.
The unit’s control panel includes elapsed hour meter, an outlet for powering external equipment, and circuit breakers for on/off functionality and protection.
If you need the unit for a winter job the diesel engine includes glow-plug preheat system for increased service life and improved cold-weather starting.
The engine is monitored by an automatic shutdown system to protect it from damage due to low oil pressure and high coolant temperature.
For easy and convenient maintenance, the hinged top panel provides unimpeded access to engine, generator, and electrical components. Options include a choice of engines, 7.5 or 8 kW generator, auto-start/stop system, 120- and 240-volt power receptacles, block heater, fuel/water separator, and electric winches. Vertical-tower and LED models are also available.
